Motorcyclists collect Toys for Tots

The Sioux Lookout HOG (Harley Owners Group) Chapter’s annual Toys for Tots event took place on Sept. 30, with local and area motorcyclists collecting new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations at the Sioux Lookout Travel Information Centre.
This was the club’s 19th year running the event, which traditionally is the last official club event of the riding season and an opportunity for the club to give back to the community.
Chapter Director Rick Jaworski said collected donations go to the Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre for their Christmas Hamper Program.
Jaworski said the Friendship Centre is continuing to accept donations if people missed dropping them off to the motorcyclists.
Jaworski thanked motorcyclists for taking part in the event, which included a ride through town, as well as everyone who provided a donation.
