Comments Policy
The Sioux Lookout Bulletin encourages discussion and reader engagement. We have set out our community rules which apply to our social media accounts and our webpage (http://siouxbulletin.com/), in order to best facilitate friendly, open, and fair conversations.
The Sioux Lookout Bulletin will be available on
social media from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Please engage with the Sioux Lookout Bulletin and
with one another respectfully.
We welcome varying opinions and experiences;
however, profanity and personal attacks are not permitted within posts and
comments. Racist, homophobic, sexist or otherwise discriminatory or offensive
posts or comments will be removed. Do not comment or post things that threaten
or defame any person or organization, or suggest or encourage illegal
activities.
Comments may be reprinted elsewhere on the site or
used in Sioux Lookout Bulletin publications. The Sioux Lookout Bulletin may ask
for confirmation of identity in order to republish comments. Views expressed in
comments are not necessarily those of the Sioux Lookout Bulletin.
The comment section is not an appropriate place for
advertising products and services – please contact our Advertising (advertising@siouxbulletin.com)
or Classifieds (office@siouxbulletin.com)
departments to place ads!
We reserve the right to moderate and delete
problematic comments, and to ban users. Off topic comments and posts may be
deleted.
A Sioux Lookout Bulletin staff member will view all
comments and posts on the Bulletin’s social media accounts and website. If you
see a comment or post that does not abide by these rules, please flag it for
moderation.
Every social media user and/or website visitor is
responsible for legal and other consequences of his or her comments.
