Transportation access to Sioux Lookout

To Sioux Lookout Council, I am writing to bring to your attention a critical issue that requires immediate attention in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. The lack of transportation access to the reserve is preventing many First Nations individuals and communities from accessing essential services and resources in the town. It is unacceptable that, in 2024, our community members still need help to travel to and from the city quickly and efficiently. This situation goes against the principles of reconciliation and building a better future for all. I understand that transportation infrastructure is complex, but accessibility and inclusion must be prioritized. As a FN man, I ask that you take immediate steps to address this issue and ensure that transportation access to and from the reserve is prioritized.
