Halloween fun! Trunk or Treat, Boo at the Bay draw hundreds of visitors
Tim Brody - Editor
Cedar Bay was a busy place on Oct. 26, with hundreds of people visiting the Cedar Bay parking lot where representatives from businesses and organizations, as well as individuals, gave out treats during Trunk or Treat in the afternoon. Hundreds more people visited Cedar Bay that evening to test their nerve walking the haunted trail during Boo at the Bay.
Dorothy Broderick, who organized both events, said approximately 750 people visited for Trunk or Treat and over 300 people attended Boo at the Bay.
She added, “Both went really well. We had a great time and have been hearing that our trick or treaters and trail walkers did too. Looking forward to next year!”
Broderick thanked everyone involved in putting on both events and thanked people for attending on her Facebook page.
“Yesterday was amazing,” she wrote. “We had so much fun with you all. Thank you to all our trunks for doing such a great job making the lot look good and giving out a whole lot of tasty treats! Your trunks were all really well done. Then came Boo at the Bay and my scream meter was refilled for another year of happiness. Our haunters were spooky! Good work everyone!
Thank you to everyone who came out to walk the trail and got scared. We had so much fun with you all.”
