Women’s Blueberry Golf Tournament

Betty Ann Roy (left), pictured with major tournament sponsor Garth Hyslop of Garth Hyslop CPA & Associates, was the overall champion of this year’s Women’s Blueberry Golf Tournament, which took place on Aug. 3 at the Sioux Lookout Golf and Curling Club. Her winning score was 79.
Roy, who grew up in Sioux Lookout and now resides in Winnipeg, has been crowned tournament champion multiple times.
Taking first place in the 1st flight with a score of 85 was Jenna Poirier. First in the 2nd flight with a score of 97 was Pam Bujold. First in the 3rd flight with a score of 102 was Priscella Nayotchkeesic. First in the 4th flight with a score of 111 was Jan Potter.
Thirty-four women participated in the 18-hole Blueberry Festival event.
