Tikinagan Child and Family Services hosted Tikinagan-Berry-Fun Festivities on August 8, welcoming local residents and visitors to town to enjoy an afternoon of fun.
Marc-Nicholas Laforte, Communications Supervisor, stated that the day’s activities included pot painting, face-painting, a tattoo station, and a Plinko board where people could win a small prize.
He added, “We had pizza, chicken burgers, hot dogs, freezies for kids, drinks, three bouncy castles - one with a water slide, and we also had some general HR information where people can learn about our services and career opportunities. Special thank you to the Friendship Center for allowing us to use their water for the bouncy castle.”
Event participant Ashley Stewart said she thought it was an awesome event, “There’s so many kids around, nice hot day but they had lots of refreshments, plus a bouncy castle water slide to cool off with. And of course, some really good food.”
