St. Patrick’s Day window display

Sioux Area Seniors Activity Centre members Charron Sippola, Sandra Lockhart and Joan Kydd, have created their latest artistic display to observe St. Patrick’s Day this month. The display is on the Front Street facing windows of the senior centre. 

Sippola, who envisioned the display, said, “It’s St. Patrick’s Day, so got some leprechauns, a rainbow with a pot of gold, and some Irish sayings on the windows. People can stop and read them and get some inspiration. It’s just following with the theme of March 17th.” 

The display shares Irish messages and sayings like, “IRISH KISSES and SHAMROCK WISHES!” and “May love and laughter light your days.”

“There are some Irish sayings that are neat and inspirational and so maybe people will stop and read some of them and get a smile out of them, or put them in the back of their head to remember another time,” Sippola added.
