SLMHC Diagnostic Imaging Team receives OAMRS 2022 Team Award

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre’s (SLMHC) Diagnostic Imaging Team has been recognized by the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS) with its 2022 prestigious Team Award for teamwork and collaboration.
SLMHC radiation technologists, Brad Hatch and Alex Nemec-Bakk attended the OAMRS awards gala on May 6, representing SLMHC’s Diagnostic Imaging Team, to accept the award.
The gala featured previous medical radiation sciences award recipients from across the province.
“We are ecstatic to have received the award at the gala in Toronto after postponement,” SLMHC shared in a post on their Facebook page last week.  “We are so proud of our team members for being recognized for their intra- and interprofessional teamwork and collaboration, and for their accomplishments and commitment to SLMHC’s mission, vision and values. Congratulations to SLMHC Diagnostic Imaging Team!”
