Skating club draw winner

Yafeng Yu was the lucky winner of the Sioux Lookout Skating Club’s 50/50 Raffle.
Yu’s winning ticket was drawn during the skating club’s recent year-end show.
He said he was shocked to learn he had won, adding he was happy to support the club and its skaters.  
This year’s 50/50 draw was a sellout and Yu won $10,000.
Sioux Lookout Skating Club Fundraising Chair Melissa Slade shared, “Proceeds for the club will go to help cover operating costs and keep registration costs low so we can keep providing the quality service that we do.” 
The winning ticket was sold by the Cospito family.
Andrea Cospito shared, “We often come here to Keewatin-Aski because Joe (her husband) works here and the girls kind of go around with me to each office and talk to the employees and everyone is always so generous and willing to support the kids.”
Cospito said that Yu’s office was the last they visited at Keewatin-Aski Ltd, selling him their final tickets.
“We’re pretty excited and happy for Yafeng,” she added.
