Bombers Head Coach Joel Litt-Jukes said he was really happy with his team’s transition game, “We were fast up ice and fast back down the ice. The backtrack was phenomenal.”
“Couple little things in the D-zone I want to clean up and I think our power play got a little bit too excited for offence… but other than that, little details to clean up, I was really happy with it,” he said.
Commenting on Labelle’s three goals and Fortin’s two, Litt-Jukes said, “Those are guys that know how to put the puck in the net. They both did a really good job of it tonight and I couldn’t be happier for them.”
Bombers Captain Cooper Labelle, the hero of the night for the hometown team, commented on his hat trick, “It was definitely a great feeling. I mean, it’s my second one ever in Junior, it was a great all-around team game. Up and down the lineup the boys were working hard tonight, so that obviously helps and goes into it.”
