Show & Shine
Sixty-three vehicles took part in the Car, Truck & Bike Show & Shine held on Aug. 9 at the Travel Information Centre grounds.
Coordinator Randy Henrickson said it was an awesome event and he couldn’t have asked for better weather.
Along with vehicles from Sioux Lookout, visitors from Dryden and Kenora also brought vehicles to the event, which was sponsored by Bumper to Bumper Sioux-Per Auto Parts.
Henrickson thanked everyone who attended and expressed his thanks to the Sunset Inn and Suites for the use of their parking lot during the event.
The Sioux Lookout Shrine Club also attended with hot dogs, smokies, burgers, and their Shrine fries.
As I cleared brush with my chainsaw during the weekend I found myself thinking, as I admired my work, that I was really giving 'er tar. Getting lots done...
