Share Your Thoughts: Northwestern Health Unit Strategic Planning Survey
Northwestern Health Unit - Special to The Bulletin
Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) invites the public to contribute to their next strategic plan. NWHU has engaged MNP LLP, a national consulting and accounting firm, to facilitate the strategic planning process. This work includes:
- facilitating a process that seeks input from key stakeholders and partners regarding current and emerging priorities; and
- developing a strategy that reflects the emerging environmental realities of Northwestern Health Unit.
The public is invited to complete an online survey that includes questions related to public health trends, the barriers and challenges faced by NWHU, and NWHU’s strengths. Participation is voluntary, confidential, and anonymous and should take about 8-10 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3F8L9PD.
In addition to public feedback MNP is engaging a range of stakeholders, including the Board of Health, leadership, staff, community partners, funders, and others, through exploratory interviews, focus groups, and surveys to gather perspectives as inputs into the plan’s development. Feedback from all engagement activities will be consolidated into a summary report and provided to the strategic planning committee to ensure participant feedback is reflected in the planning process.
If you have any questions about the survey or the strategic planning process, please email talkpublichealth@nwhu.on.ca.
