Honouring the legacy of Terry Fox
What an amazing day at PFFNHS today!
Our high school students came together (on Sept. 15) to honor the incredible legacy of Terry Fox, one of Canada’s greatest heroes.
In the classroom, we delved into Terry Fox’s inspiring story, his determination, and the legacy he left behind. It was a powerful reminder that one person can make a massive difference in the world.
We embarked on a meaningful walk in Terry’s name, just like he did during his Marathon of Hope. But our commitment to a healthier future didn’t stop there! Our students also took a collective stand against smoking by pledging to say NO to tobacco. It’s a crucial step towards better health and well-being for ourselves and our community. Every student who took the pledge the school donated to support the Terry Fox Foundation
Let’s keep the spirit of Terry Fox alive in our hearts, continuing to support noble causes and making a positive impact. Together, we can achieve greatness, just like Terry did.
