Pumpkin sale and fall frolic

A steady turnout of local residents visited the Cedar Bay Stables on Oct. 16 for The 2nd Annual Cedar Bay Stables Pumpkin Sale and Fall Frolic.

Pumpkins, grown at the Cedar Bay Stables, were available for sale by donation. Pony rides, crafts under the pavilion, as well as refreshments donated by Tim Hortons were also part of the event, as well as a decorated area for photos.

Event volunteers said the event was created as a community event to get people out to enjoy an October fall day at Cedar Bay Stables and see some of what Cedar Bay has to offer.

The event was organized by John Bailey and his daughter Blythe, the Friends of Cedar Bay and Cedar Bay Stables.
