Pelican Lake water level at bottom of normal range
Tim Brody - Editor
After high water levels led to localized flooding in the Sioux Lookout area this spring, the water level of Pelican Lake is now at the bottom of the normal range according to Lake of the Woods Control Board (LWCB).
LWCB shared that the water level on Pelican Lake, as of Nov. 1, was about an inch higher than it had been a year ago on Nov. 1, 2021, both a bit above the 25th percentile (“in other words a 1-in-4 year low for Nov 1, or bottom of the normal range,” LCWC shared).
