The Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) is advising anyone who booked their COVID-19 vaccine appointment using the provincial booking system that they must rebook their 2nd dose through the Northwestern Health Unit.
According to NWHU, the large clinics for previously scheduled second doses have been cancelled.
“If you were scheduled into one of the clinics…(listed) and still need your second dose, please book a new appointment,” NWHU advised.
To rebook:
- Call the health unit at 1-866-468-2240 or
- Go to www.clinicreservation.com/book-now/northwestern-health-unit
As of August 16 NWHU was reporting four active COVID-19 cases in its catchment area.
NWHU also reported, as of August 9, that 80.2 per cent of residents aged 12 and over in its catchment area had received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, while 70 per cent of residents 12 and over had received two COVID-19 vaccine doses.
