New Year’s baby

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) welcomed its first newborn of 2025 at 7:32 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Matthew Luca Strang Keeper was born to parents Ricquel Strang and Aidan Keeper of Pikangikum First Nation.  Matthew weighs seven pounds, ten ounces.
SLMHC shared on its Facebook page that, “Mom and baby are both doing well!”
