Patricia Sharron Lemmon (nee Falls)
June 29, 1943 – April 25, 2025
Sadly, we announce the passing of Patricia Sharron Lemmon (nee Falls), age 81, at IOOF Seniors Home in Barrie, on Friday, April 25th, 2025.
Pat was born June 29, 1943, in Lampman, Saskatchewan to Olive and Lloyd Falls, she with her family moved to Port Arthur, Ontario at the age of 13. Pat attended Wilmar School in Saskatchewan, Port Aurther Collegiate Institute, and Lakehead Technical Institute (Teachers College) in Thunder Bay she graduated as a teacher in 1964. Pat pursued her teaching career in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, where she met and subsequently married Ronald Lemmon on July 6, 1968.
Pat lived in Sioux Lookout, and worked at Wellington and Central Schools, mostly in Grade 3 and supply. After her teaching career Pat enjoyed volunteering at CBLS Community Radio, both as an announcer and executive, Sioux Lookout Figure Skating Club as executive, a member of the Ojibway Power Toboggan Association and the Drayton Local Services Board and the Abram Lake Roads Board as executive. In later years due to many health challenges Pat and Ron relocated to the Barrie/Innisfil area.
Pat is survived by her loving husband Ron of 56 years, her daughter Jocelyn (Matt) Penfold, of Innisfil and sisters Lynn (Ron) Boudreau of Kamloops, BC, and Gwen (Vic) Dimini of Thunder Bay, ON, brother-in-law Richard Lemmon of Winnipeg, MB, sisters-in-law Connie (John) Falk of Irricana, AB and Clara (Terry O’Connor) Light, of Thunder Bay, ON as well as several nieces and nephews in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Olive and Lloyd Falls and brothers-in-law Reginald Lemmon, William (Billy) Lemmon and Robert (Bob) Lemmon.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life/Internment Service will follow at a later date in Thunder Bay.
