John Richard Cole

February 18, 1948 – June 30, 2025

John Richard Cole was born in Sioux Lookout on February 18, 1948. Partner of Sandy MacLeod, son of John and Mary Cole, brother of Marion Cole Keyland, Uncle of Christy (Kerry) and Colleen Keyland.

John should have written a book about all the adventures (misadventures?) he had.  He was a true friend to many, very funny and had a brain full of memories of people and events in Sioux.  Many of us have witnessed the discussions at the table of wisdom in the Legion club room!!  John devoted himself to the legion as a respect for all the Sioux Lookout veterans from the wars.  His collection of photos to be displayed at Remembrance Day was a wonderful tribute.  Bring your stories to the Legion club room on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 for 1 p.m.
