In Loving Memory of Our Sky

Brother, Nephew and BFF!
Our eyes filled up with tears as we heard the news.
It never occurred to us how much we could lose.
We find ourselves wishing that it wasn't real.
Every time we think about it, pain is all we can feel.
Tears fall from my eyes; I can barely see.
But my heart tells me that he'll always be with me.
I'm glad he feels no pain now; he lives in a perfect land.
I can still feel the soft touch on my shoulder of his loving hand.
I lie in bed and cry at night.
And I don't feel any better in the morning light.
We will love and miss him forever.
Until the day we are again together.
Together in that perfect place above.
Filled with caring, sharing, and love.
But until that day comes--We will wipe our tears away
And hope to see him again someday.

In Loving Memory of a Special Nephew

Dearest Sky,
It is Auntie.  Miss you bud.  Think of you every day. I still cannot believe I will never hear your voice, see your face, boy I miss those “hugs and luv you”.   You were very special to us.  With kindness in your heart, the love you had for everyone, the visits, trips, hockey tournaments, movies and feeding you – boy you liked your cheese!  You were our kind, gentle boy.
Sky, these last 365 days has been a very long and difficult year, some days are getting better, but some days are not.  I never thought we would get through it, but I look at your “ma”, you would be so proud of her.  She is so strong.  She gets up every day and faces the world, no matter what.  She is our rock; we will take care of her and always speak of you every day.   Your dad is doing a good job taking care of Ma.
Sky, as we approach each new day, without you.  We will remain strong, support each other, and continue to do the “Sky hug and say I love you”, this is the kindest gesture for everyone to carry on, in your honour.  Your beautiful memories shall never be forgotten.
I know someday I will see you again.  In my heart I will hold you close, until then.  Always remembered.  Always loved, to the moon and back.  Auntie Millie and your bro, Thomas xoxo

Son, nephew, cousin, grandson, brother, boyfriend, friend. As your one-year memorial approaches us and we can say we have finished off an extremely hard year. We kindly look back at all the kind words, big hugs, and silent prayers our families have received for our Skyler.
Honestly, there has not been a day we do not whisper your name, cry for you, or want to just call, text or wait to see you walk thru the front door, one more time.
Everyday since we lost you, we have lived for you Skyler. Your memories have been shared amongst family and friends. When we hear that one song or say that simple word it reminds us of you and how much you meant to each one of us in your own special way. We have made it thru birthdays and holidays and now it is that day we lost you and we need to be strong again to face this day. Some of us will come together to remember those good times we had with you. Some of us will do this alone, either way your legacy will continue thru your parents, friends, and family.
You have not been forgotten.
NO WORDS make it easy and we will continue to live and find a way to move forward without you. We miss you more then YOU will ever know, and we wish we had more time. We will look for you in each other and we will see the signs you send us.
Skyler continue your journey and we will continue to find comfort in your absence. We know you knew how much you were loved and we miss those extra long big hugs, your out of the blue phone calls / visits and the mention of your name still bring smiles to all who knew you.
We will continue to grieve and find ways to support one another but as long as the sunsets and the moonrises, we will continue to make you proud.
