Note of appreciation
A brief note of appreciation to the individuals that helped my brother-in-law and I.
We hit a moose on the evening of July 19, on highway 599 on our way to Pickle Lake.
Kathy Wesley and her grandson were the first to stop and help. He was able to use the SOS feature on his cell phone to summon an ambulance out of Sioux Lookout.
An OPP officer coming from Pickle Lake also stopped to help. He drove me to the meet the ambulance.
The staff at the Men Ya Win Hospital were excellent. We were well medically assessed before being released in the morning. Thank you for taking good care of us.
Deanna Koval found us a ride back to Pickle Lake. Jan Vaughn drove us back. Thank you, I appreciate the help that night.
Albert (Abbie) Brazeau, Pickle Lake
I was happy to host a community BBQ in Kenora. It was great to see so many residents stop by to say hello, chat, and enjoy a hamburger. Thank you to everyone who attended...
