Blueberry Festival 2022

We the Blueberry Festival committee send out a heartfelt thank you to all the event organizers, sponsors, and volunteers that participated in our 40th Festival. It truly takes a community wide effort to make the Festival happen. A lot of work is required for each event and there are so many people behind the scenes that work very hard to make it all a success. Some of these people have been helping, donating time and money since the very beginning. Many of these people go unnoticed and we recognize that without them we wouldn’t have a Festival. We also thank all the participants and attendance support we get from the community and beyond. We love to see all the smiling faces and everyone having a good time. The Blueberry Festival is a grand celebration and this year everyone pulled together to make it a huge success. It was definitely a challenge this year having no employees and we are pleased that everyone pitched in. 
The fevered pitch of the Festival brought in many last minute events long after the schedule was printed, with some events being registered while the Festival was actually going on. It was nice to see so many organizations and individuals getting involved. A few events needed to be rescheduled due to the weather and we were very happy to have many of these rescheduled. Thank you to the event organizers that rearranged their busy lives to make sure their event still operated.  Many of the events count on the Festival as a time to fundraise for their activities and noble causes. We are proud of the support these events receive and of the community spirit present during the 10 days. 
The Blueberry Committee is looking for some new volunteers and some fresh faces are needed. If you are looking to get involved in the community and don’t know what to do, the Blueberry Committee may be a good fit. We work with many organizations and it is a great opportunity to make a lot of contacts. You get to be involved behind the scenes and help guide the Festival.
