Junior Boys Volleyball Team Head Coach Jason Suprovich shared, “The SNHS Jr. Boys Volleyball Team concluded a successful season on Friday at the NorWossa Championships in Dryden. The team finished the regular season with a 6-3 record which landed them in second place setting them up for a semi-final match against the Muskies. The Warriors came out strong and won the first 2 sets in their first best of 5 match of the season. The Muskies battled back to win set 3 and 4 setting up the most exciting set in volleyball, the final 5th set. The set started out with some tight back and forth action and at the 8 point switch it was the Muskies with a 8-6 advantage. The warriors continued to battle, however the momentum stayed with the Muskies who eventually won 15 - 10. Although it was not the results the team was hoping for, the experience for this young team was great! Congratulations to the Muskies on beating the No. 1 Beaver Brae Bronco’s in 4 sets to win the dir. Boys Volleyball Championship.”
