Fares for flights North won’t change with new security fee
Airfare for flights from Sioux Lookout to Northern communities will not be affected by a proposed new security fee. The Air Travelers Security Charge, which comes into effect April 1 will not apply to flights between airports without security screening procedures.

Hockey tourney brings bucks, short-term burdens- but it’s all worth it
Hockey players and spectators numbering in the thousands will descend on Sioux Lookout this coming March Break, rolling off the northern winter roads with the mixed baggage of economic boom and body-check bravura. According to local business people, the boom is a great benefit to the town.
