You may have spotted an unfamiliar sight in Sioux Lookout last week, a brightly-coloured car with a camera contraption on top. A closer look would reveal the identity of the vehicle – the Google Maps Street View car.

Stan Beardy elected Ontario Regional Chief in Toronto
A familiar face in a new place. Long time Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) Grand Chief Stan Beardy was recently elected Ontario Regional Chief at the All Ontario Chiefs Conference in Toronto. During his four-term, 12-year tenure at NAN, Beardy championed and established vital literacy programs and technological projects.

Numerous graduation ceremonies have taken place in Sioux Lookout and area over the past few weeks. The graduations have been a time for smiles and tears as students, their teachers and families celebrate student accomplishment and the next stage in their lives.
