Five people arrested, facing drug charges

Five people from Lac Seul First Nation were arrested and charged last week by Lac Seul Police Service.
Police shared that on Tuesday, June 22, “At approximately 11 a.m., the Lac Seul Police Service (LSPS) conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Hudson. As a result of this stop, Police located open liquor and a quantity of Crystal Meth and Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms).”
Police arrested and charged five people.
A 19-year-old Frenchman’s Head resident was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance CDSA 4(1).
A 30-year-old Frenchman’s Head resident was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance CDSA 4(1) and Care & Control of Vehicle with Open Liquor LLA 31(2).
A 41-year-old Frenchman’s Head resident was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance CDSA 4(1).
A 25-year-old Frenchman’s Head resident was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance CDSA 4(1).
A 27-year-old Kejick Bay resident was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance CDSA 4(1).
All 5 accused persons were released and will appear in Sioux Lookout Court on July 27.
