Portrait of serenity

The perfect portrait of peace, love, and serenity on an August evening from our Palace. I’ll cache it in memory for a frigid January day next winter.
Grace and Wojo have just devoured a Klik and  Velveta on cheese bun sandwich treat.
After 10 hours on low heat and applewood smoke, along with garden fresh zucchini, our beef short ribs are ready for dinner. The 10 hours of cooking sang delicious aromas all day long in the Palace.
On the lake in front our two-chick family of loons glides gracefully, catching their own supper treats.
I sit, watching and marveling, cigar and scotch at hand, soft jazz in the background, at the wonders.
