Henry’s cheese

Remembering Henry Legary’s cheese.
Henry brought in an amazing selection of cheeses when he owned Drayton Cash and Carry in the 1970s and early ‘80s.
A customer could buy a big chunk or a handful of sandwich slices, custom cut, from Henry’s wheels.
Every fishing trip was a treat stoked by such delights. A different cheese every weekend cut on the boat seat with a filet knife and slapped on a Ritz cracker during the hot summer afternoon in pursuit of Minnitaki Walleyes.
An enduring favorite, though, to this day, has been the old standard that we never go without... Old Fart.
