Customer Appreciation BBQ

The Standard Insurance Brokers Ltd in Sioux Lookout held a Customer Appreciation Day Charity BBQ on July 25 at their 34 Front Street office and according to Insurance Advisor, Commercial Team Lead Michelle Olson, it was a great turnout.
“This year we had an unbelievable turnout, the weather was beautiful, and we had so many customers show up to not only enjoy a hamburger or cheeseburger, hot dogs, pop/water/iced tea and chips but also to donate to a great cause,” Olson shared, adding the event was so successful they sold out.
The Customer Appreciation BBQ, an annual event, collected donations to go towards the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre Foundation MRI campaign.
“We decided to incorporate our BBQ and a small fundraiser for the hospital this year as we feel it is a great cause and any little bit helps our community reach the goal for the MRI Unit,” Olson shared.
The free BBQ also included a draw for some Standard Insurance swag.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the weather, it was very nice to see so many customers stop by to say hi and enjoy a burger while doing so and especially for participating in our fundraiser for the hospital. It was very nice to see such great attendance,” Olson concluded.
