Christmas Feast
Approximately 400 plates of Christmas dinner were served on Dec. 4 during the Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre’s annual Christmas Feast.
This was the Friendship Centre’s first sit down feast since 2019 and the event was so busy three seatings were required to serve everyone who came.
“It went so well. We were so happy to have the community back in the centre again,” shared Executive Director Ashely Edwards, adding, “It’s our way of saying thank you to the community.”
