Celebrating International Women’s Day
Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 with an International Women’s Day Luncheon at the Jeremiah McKay Kabayshewekamik Hostel.
Guests and employees were treated to food and snacks at the event, with SLFNHA sharing that the event was held, “In support of raising awareness for International Women’s Day within SLFNHA at JMK 1 Hostel, a warm, welcoming, and secure place for clients traveling to Sioux Lookout for medical appointments. SLFNHA hopes to have more events like this in the future.”
