Assistant Deputy Minister of Health visits SLMHC

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) hosted Dr. Karima Velji, Chief of Nursing & Professional Practice and Assistant Deputy Minister of Health last week on June 21.
Dr. Velji’s visit was part of a Northern Ontario tour she is doing across a wide variety of communities to learn more about healthcare across the North. 
SLMHC shared that Dr. Velji, “joined us for a hospital tour, where she learned more about our facility, programs, and the Indigenous culture and history we are rooted in at SLMHC.”
