“An Evening of Classical Music”

Boreal Music (a group of local residents with a passion for classical music) presented “An Evening of Classical Music” on June 5 at St. Andrew’s United Church.
An annual event in Sioux Lookout which had been on pause during the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s evening of classical music was dedicated to the memory of Werner Stunzi, a founder and organizer of the event who also performed classical guitar pieces.
This year’s performers included: Arden Penner – piano, Makayla Hoftyzer – piano, Maelle Penner – piano, Meritt Penner – violin and piano, Bob Johnston – piano, Bonnie Sobchuk – piano, and the vocal quintet of Carol Wood, Athena Cospito, Florence Woolner, Bob Johnston, and Tom Mawhinney.
